Day 25&26: Update

No stories to tell as all has been well with CWP! My daughter has a double ear infection, the poor little thing, but has started anti-biotics and we had a much better nights sleep last night :) Thats why I havn't been on much as I have had no time to myself until last night...

I actually went out on a Friday night! Cant remember the last time that happened lol. It was only to my sisters but was a much needed family girly night :) Everyone had drinks and chipped in on a chinese and I sat there with my water and lemon yoghurt bar! Felt so good to be in control! It was weird to not be at home but out socialising in the evening! I hardly ever go out, I have to admit I could go out more if I really wanted to but I love the weekend evenings with my partner and our little girl. I'd much rather snuggle up in fresh pjs with BGT on the telly then be out clubbing lol! Feeling old. I reach the 'quarter of a century old' point soon! Aggghhh lol! But sometimes it gets to the point where I do need a night out as it has been far too long, and my friends/family moan at me for being boring haha! Its such a turn around for me because before I had my little girl, I was the life and soul of the party, Im quite out going so its strange for me lol. Funny how parenthood can change you isn't it!

Anyways...

Day 27 for me now! I have my 4th WI on Tuesday afternoon and so far my scales have moved 1lb in the right direction, so we shall see. Might be another low week for me this week as I have continued with the bars. BUT, I will be happy regardless. Lotte, I can totally relate to your 'ONE week of losing 6lbs whilst eating at WW' lol! Made me chuckle when I read that because I once lost 7.5lbs in ONE week at Slimming World and I seriously ate sh!t loads that week but all on plan, but I did the same the following week and lost 1lb! And it continued at 1-2lbs a week after that, so with CWP at the least the losses are a few pounds out here or there, and not a huge difference like I had with SW! And like you said you've lost 22lbs in 25 days! It literally took me around 26 weeks to lose that as I did have a few gain with SW too from over eating :/

Cham you have done brilliantly! Going to have a look at your diary later tonight :)

Have a good day everyone x x x

Phew... I was getting separation anxiety ! Glad you had a good night out Sherrie.... we're off to see friends for dinner - and God bless her, she's doing is all a SS+ chicken salad

Aaww how great is that! Gives other people a chance to see how life is for you at the moment as well! Is this the first SS+ meal you would have had? I cant quite remember x x x

This will be my 4th chicken salad - living on the edge eh? ...... I can't wait though !

Chicken salad sounds absolutely divine to me lol! I could ruin one right about now but my will power is only good if I have complete abstinence from food. I take my hat off to you Lotte, because I once I had one chicken salad I wouldn't be able to stop thinking about having one every evening and I would find the plan so much harder! So no food for me until I am fully on board with SS+ or Step 2 x

It was lovely!! But I do now feel I'd like another one, so torn whether to go to SS+ or stick where I am .... I can see where you are coming from as I am sure even having a chicken salad makes me feel hungry whereas when I am SS I don't even think about it ...I'll stick with my shake and recorded BGT tonight anyway x

It is difficult once you have food, not eating meals is so much easier! Hope you both are feeling fantastic today xx

I'm feeling groovy! Good day - It's so much easier for me when I'm at work as I can just keep busy all day and only take a quick lunch break (how long does it take to eat a yoghurt bar after all?)....
My scales are fluctuating again this week, but trying to keep calm and reassure myself that it'll all be alright come weigh in!
Had lots of compliments from the ladies at work today which is a brilliant boost AND my DD appears to be behaving herself (tempting fate I know)...so all's good so far

Re: Diary of a CD Girl - Week 4 Already!!!

Wooohooo good old PMA goes down a treat, and fingers crossed your daughter behaves!! X

...Grrrrr... Thanks Fifi, but she isn't behaving - back to school again this Friday for me:mad:... Been good for the last few days in my CWP world, and already at 2.5 litres today so fingers crossed...

Day 28,29,30 - Weigh In Day!: Update

Hi ladies!!! Sorry I have been away for a few days, I have had so much going on! My daughter had a friends birthday party at the weekend amongst visiting family and yesterday I had my first gynaecology appointment since all the bother in December. very happy with how that went though, looks like I am actually being listened to for once!

Anyways, all is good in the world of CWP! No stories to report, still on SS and all is great. Today I had my 4th WI, I lost 2lbs this week. I know it's not a lot but I will still happy as Im still getting smaller! Like I explained before about how the peanut crunch bars can impact a little on my losses when I introduce them into the plan, I think that is what has happened but I am not focusing on the numbers, I can already feel a difference in my clothes so the inches are definitely coming off! I wish I had taken them at the beginning!!!
Speaking of the peanut crunch bars, I thought to myself that I am only allow myself 4 a week and I am going to replace the other 3 that I would have had with the lemon yoghurt bars (as they have less carbs) plus a few more for throughout the week as I love them so much ;)
If that fails and I end up having a small loss again next week, I am going to maybe think about starting SS+/810 as my consultant said that the average loss for 810 is 12lbs a month, I have lost 20lbs in the last 4 weeks so I know I am well above average for SS (average being 14lbs a month) but being on SS I would prefer the losses to be about 4lbs a week. If again I get a 2-3lb loss next week, then I shall consider moving up a step. It may even kick start my losses again as that can happen. Does anyone think that this is a good idea? I feel like I am babbling lol! We will see how next week goes!

Hope everyone is still going strong!!! x x x

Thankyou

Hey Sherrie .... You're not "thinking if that one week when you lost 7.5lbs" again are you ?!??

2lb is great... And don't you forget it !!! ... but I understand completely where you're coming from - I have also thought that if my losses drop then I'll move up a step for more of those delicious chicken salads ! My scales haven't moved much this week, but I'll see what Thursday WI brings !

2lb is great! i'm sort of aiming for 2bs this week its the norm to slow down isnt it? you are doing such a great job and full steam ahead we have just over a month to get to our target, being on 810 is not so bad and I was told going up can restart bigger loses so do what feel right for you Xx

Yes exactly girls! The losses definitely slow down but it should average out at around 4lb a week for SS, and I know I am over the average for the month but that includes my first week and first week losses are always amazing. So if by next week it is another week under 4lb then thats 3 weeks running and I'd much rather be having yummy chicken salads and losing the same then not having any food at all. If I dont see 4lb gone next week then I may just try SS+ for a week and see how I go.

You never know though I may be too scared to start eating again if it came to it lol can definitely see that happening, I am so content with just 3 products at the minute x x x

Re: Diary of a CD Girl - Week 4 Already!!!

Hi Sherrie, when I went up a step from ss+ to 810 I lost 5lbs. Sometimes I think we need a boost to the metabolism then take it away again to keep losing. Hope u get 4lbs off hun. Xx

Thankyou Cham!

It does make sense doesn't it! Your body gets used to SS and the 'shock' factor wears off so once you eat some extra protein, it uses the calories and burns them up and more so you technically lose more weight. A calorie is a unit of energy so the more (healthy, within reason) calories that you have, the more you burn off therefore reducing fat. Obviously this only works if you do it correctly like with CWP, so I am thinking that if next weeks WI is still low I will move up to SS+ and see how I fair on that :) x x x

Re: Diary of a CD Girl - Week 5! 20lbs Down :D

Yes it makes sense. See how you get on. It will be nice to have something to eat as well. Food for brain and body. :)
