Hi All,

I'm Maryanne. A newbie here on minimins, I am doing SW since June, have lost 17.5lbs so far, have another 40ish to go. I am setting up this thread/diary to track all my food & recipes.

Breakfast 8am
Coffee ( 1/4 HexA Low Fat Milk)
Apple (Speed)

Lunch 1pm
Boxty, Beans (P) & Fried Egg (P) ... Then some berries for speed, have some raspberries and blackberries

Drank two pints of water, and 1/2 pint of coke zero today, then made dinner to feed the family.

Dinner today is Fakeaway burger and chips followed by half a melon

Syns- 6 Slimsters Wholemeal bun 5 syns, sweet chilli sauce 1 syn

Lean mince, onions, garlic, chilli powder, black pepper and paprika all mixed up in a bowl, shaped into balls and fried.

Chips- par boil potatoes, heat oven, throw potatoes on roasting dish, add salt, pepper, vinegar, and cook until brown

Thank you craftermary. It has taken a while to get the burgers the right blend of spices but now I love making them. I put chives in too when I have them. Really great flavour from the chilli and chives. Not a combination I would of liked before SW
 
Hi all!

Slightly bold weekend, have been a busy bee. Travelled three hours down home to see family and friends yesterday and back again today, so I have been on plan, but I decided to count yesterday as a a Flexi syn day as I was somewhat off track as I was on the go and didnt prep properly.

Breakfast:
  • Pancakes with Nutella, and tonnes of melon. Coffee (HexA) 4 syns

Lunch:
  • Fish and chips! (I didnt eat the batter, and I flavoured with syn free cupboard staples (500ml Diet 7up) 6.5 syns for chips
(What syns is in battered fish if you dont eat the batter?)

Dinner:
  • Gammon Steak and Fried Onions 2 x cans Coke Zero

In the PUB:
  • 2x sparkling water and one cranberry juice 4 syns
  • 1 x non alcoholic beer- Paulaner 4 syns
Total syns 20.5

Sunday

Breakfast:
  • 1 Chocolate orange hifi (half hexb) with a mandarin and coke zero
Visiting my Friend:
  • Had a Twinnings Cranberry and Blood orange tea! Avoided the chocolate and biscuits on offer which is hard when a toddlar is trying to feed you her cookie!!
Lunch/Dinner:

I made spiral pasta I found in tesco and for the sauce, I fried Chicken, smoked bacon, onions, peppers, garlic, passata, paprika, chilli powder and some other random herbs from my collection. Tasted really nice and was a lovely change. Had another can of coke zero and a bottle of water

On The Road:
  • Coffee (hexA) Oat cookie (hexb 1/2)
  • Dairy Milk 1/2 4.5 syns
Tea:
  • This evening I enjoyed some melon and a peppermint tea.

Yeah It is just delish!! Really quick and easy and tasty too which is the main thing. Only takes about 20 mins, when you count the prep time, normally I'd make it with courgettes sliced up too, but just used what was in mums fridge while I was home :) Love comfort food when the weather is like this between Storm Clodagh and the snowy mountains, I just want comfort food and a good movie :) I'm studying a computer course, looking to move into admin position as design jobs are scarce.

Hey all,

Sorry my week has been mental moved into my new house. Cookers not working just yet. But finally getting around to unpacking and getting back on plan. Off now until Dec 16th.
Once I have WiFi sorted I'll be back on with all my pics xx
