ProPoints Diary of a Weight Watcher

Since I started WW this time on the 18th of Jan ive lost 22 lbs :) my start weight was 15'12 and Im down to 14'4 now but at my heaviest I was 17 stone :eek: It's so hard to believe I was that heavy looking back now but a year in Australia with no take outs and living on a farm sorted that right out ;) and now I'm actually ooking forward to loosing more weight for the first time in years I actually feel somewhat comfortable in my own skin! Your signature is totally right, nothing tastes as good as skinny feels :) I see your goal is 9st 7, mines 11st 1 but I have a funny feeling when I get down that low I'll want to go a little further :)
I would think you will have no problem getting to your goal, our doing really really well so far!!

I think it's cos I was trying to stick to the 26 but felt starving n then I'd go mad eating everything in sight then starving the rest of the wk trying to stick to the 26. This time round I'm aiming to have 30 ish a day n then if me n my bloke go out for a meal I've still got 21 weeklies to use. Thinking of have 26 is so little, I know it's only 4 pp more having 30 but it seems to help. N this way I'm mainly using them for real food rather than sweets ect!

I go to Tenerife 5 wk's on Friday with my mums n sister so I'm hoping to b at least down to ten st. I always get a bit complacent at ten st n quit. I want to carry on this time. I'll obv gain while I'm away but want to carry on when I get back. I'm a bridesmaid for my best friend in sept so that's another incentive! ( sorry for blabbing on) haha x

I know exactly what you mean! Im on 31 at the moment and some days I find it hard to use them all and other days I do be like where have all my PP gone haha the 49 weeklies are a godsend!!
Its so hard when you hit a wall and it becomes really hard to keep losing!! If you stick at it though you will see results! Hahaha your not babbling this forum is great for talking about all this stuff I know my boyfriend does be sick and tired of me talking about weightwatchers and points so its nice to be able to have a good chat about it!! Im heading away this year to and Ive got a mini marathon in June so Ive been training for that so thats a little bit of motivation!!
Im hoping to get my 10% next week I only have half a pound to go until I get that so Im being extra good and not drinking this weekend ;)

He just shuts off when I start talking points, so yeh it's nice to talk to people that are doing the same thing! I need to start jogging again, did it for a few months n stopped. U start to see real changes in ur body, Don't think I could quite manage a marathon tho! x x

Hahaha its only a mini one (10k) I dunno if Ill manage to jog the whole thing as Im only runnng 4k in intervals at the moment but if I finish it ill be happy :) Its lashing rain here today so I didnt get out for a run but I done lunges squats and planks and my my legs and abs are out of action for the rest of the day ;)
 
Well it's certainly more than I've done! been naughty really cos I needed to take my dog out. Raining here tho n it's freezing!! I need to def up the exercise x x

Start slow and you'll enjoy it more!! I used to hate walking now I look forward to it (most days haha) xx
 
Yeh I don't mind walking, once i get going I can walk my dog 6 miles, I've just been very lazy past couple of wk's x
 
So I had a really good day today! I tried out putting a scoop (30g) of protein powder into a breakfast smoothie to see if it made much of a difference to my appetite and I was planning a workout! I felt less hungry alright but that may be beacause I worked out and I always find that I'm less hungry when I workout so maybe it will help with my aching legs haha anyway here's my day!

Friday

Excercise- x2 reps of 20 lunges, x2 reps of 20 second side plank (each side) x3 reps of squats and x3 reps of 20 second front plank. Again Im not gonna log the AP because I didnt time how long I was working out for and it wasnt cardio so I'm reluctant to put down the AP's!

Breakfast:
Protein Shake-5PP
Made with x1 banana, 30g of protein powder and 200ml of hazelnut alpro soya milk.

Lunch:
Chicken bagel with jalapenos, lettuce and mayo-11PP
Americano coffee with a dash of skimmed milk and sugarfree vanilla syrup-2pp

Dinner:
Chicken chow mein-15PP
I'm so bold having a chineese but were getting a new fridge put in in the morning and Im not going shopping until thats in, Im also only gonna have half the portion because Ill feel sick if I eat it all, still gonna PP it as 15 though! ;)

Would you recommend the protein shake? Also does it taste nice and can you just put in more fruit to bulk it out more ? X

Ive only been drinking it the last two mornings but it seems to fill me up, Ill normally add a banana and 200ml of soy milk or hazelnut milk but Im sure you coud pop in whatever fruit you wanted :) ! As for the sore legs I dont think it helps because there killing me so is my tummy haha but Ill keep taking it as my breakfast until WI on Tuesday and I'll see if it has made any difference on the scales! :)
 
So today I ended up out of the house for the whole day :( I had to go and buy new clothes for the new job I'm starting on Monday (nervous!!!) I think I stuck t WW quite well today and had no treats etc just 3 meals so Im doing good :)

Saturday

Breakfast:
Protein shake made with 200ml of hazelnut milk-5PP

Lunch:
Pulled pork with mexican rice, lettuce, pico de gallo and pinto beans-15PP

Dinner:
Veg stir fry with noodles-8PP

As its the weekend I have the biggest urge to go to the pub but I want to be extra good this week and try and stay away from my weeklies so I guess I'll run a bath, put my PJs on and maybe put acolour in my hair (exciting stuff I know ;) )

Hope everyones having a good weekend! Im really looking forward to WI Tuesday! Im weighing in in the evening not first thing in the morning like I normally do so Im hoping there wont be a huge difference :scale:
 
Diary looking good hun. ... I worked out that having all my weeklies n dailies adds up to about 1300 cals so I would say eat ur weeklies or maybe half cos ur still having a calorie deficit. I think if u don't eat ur Weeklies then ur body gets used to having fewer calories, making it harder to lose when u do eat them. obv it's up to u how u eat ur points, just thought I'd give my input.
I do try n not eat my weeklies close to weigh in tho x x

After me saying I wasn't gonna eat any treats/weeklies on Saturday I had a galaxy ripple (5PP ;) ) and a packet of meanies so that brought me up to 37pp for the day so I've 39 weeklies left! Good job on the exceecise Hun keep it up! I went swimming (on my own :D ) on Sunday and done 30 lengths I was delighted!!
 
Had a busy day Sunday so never got a chance to get online :( all the family went to my uncles for a birthday party and finger food (arrggghh!!) I knew I was going so I got to plan ahead by not using to many pp and I went for a 40 minute swim :)

So I wouldnt be suprized if I'm up tomorrow at WI but I am going to take it in my stride Iv been lucky enough not to have a gain in 74 days so Im proud of myself for that. Normally on weight watchers when I had a gain I would get into a mood and quit and probably order a pizza or something and just never go back but I have a different mind set this time around and I am going to make up for this week next week, Im planning on going to aqua aerobics 3 times this week and Im gonna try my hardest to cut of the snacking at night maybe cut it down to a snack at the weekends!
