Diet fizzy drinks?

I know that Diet coke/pepsi/fanta etc are frowned upon whilst on CD, but is this still applicable on Atkins/low carb?? Or are they allowed now?

As far as I'm aware (looking on the web site ) diet drinks are allowed but go for the caffine free coke.
They say diet soda which i take to be american for diet pop

mmm well i think my diet cokes have been to blame for my plateau! that and not drinking enough water...

dont risk becoming dependant on them like me. drink water and have diet pops as a treat! i need to wean myself off d.c and onto water. i will only have d.c when i go out, ie shopping or pub etc.

I have a can every other day or so....still glug lots of iced water as well.
