I'm a bit disappointed. I'm 15 stones and 4 foot 11 so a really high bmi. I've done the diet for a week and I've only lost 7 pounds. Looking at other ppls diary's most ppl lose much more in there first week especially when as over weight as me. And also the last three days the scaled have not moved at all. I've done this diet a few times before not for a few years though. I feel like i'm ready to give up due to the scales not moving the last three days. Have been having the shakes and water. only thing is i have been having the tetra shakes and they're three months out of date. i don't know if that would affect it. it does a little strange but even before i thought they tasted a little strange. :(

7lbs is a great start - don't be disappointed. The trouble is when others have great first week losses it can raise expectations for everyone and then its easy to be sad when it doesn't live up to your expectations - but 7lbs is great - thats 14 packets of butter gone!

CD is a great diet but its so easy to get despondent when the losses seem more 'normal". So many of us over anticipate losing 21/28lbs in a month - yes it does happen for some but for most it averages out at around 3 lbs a week. The average is a stone a month - so you are 1/2 way there in your first week! Make sure you are drinking enough - particularly if you are using tetras - you need to have an extra glass of water (large one) each time you have a tetra to make up for the fact that they have less water than the shakes.

Focus on a stone a month, keep going - it will be worth it at the end!
I only lost 7lbs first week! x
Wow half a stone in 1 week! Amazing loss!!

I would say you need to stop drinking out of date tetras...

Slowly but surely x
you wouldnt get 7lbs off doing any other diet, kid......stick at it and see what week two brings - you could be suprised x

this time - the last time
I 'only' lost 7.5lb week 1. It's my week 13 WI tomorrow, and fingers crossed I'll have lost 50lb!

Don't worry about the numbers. Stay 100%, drink loads of water, and you will lose an amazing amount of weight.

Week 1 loss is mainly water anyway - so those that lose much more are just holding more water.
Sometimes it happens like that for me hon, I'll get on the scales and they won't have moved and I'll get all moody! But then they start moving again! There's no rhyme or reason to it but on this diet you WILL lose weight! 7lbs is ace xxx
