Hey a loss is a loss- don't be downhearted! On any other diet you would think 5lbs would be amazing! Keep going hun - it's going to be worth it! x

There are many things that can affect weight loss - keep on it and next week will be a good one too. Just make sure you are 100% and are drinking enough water. The high water intake helps the weight loss. x

    Hi Snowy,

I was disappointed with my first weigh in. Originally it was -5 but when I checked she had made a mistake calculating from kilos. I was still fairly disappointed with 6.5 but I now feel differently. I have been lighter than this on normal diets but no one has ever noticed this early.

Today I received loads of compliments about how much weight I had lost and I am thrilled. I feel on LT the fat is breaking down and the loss is really showing. I have no idea why but I am loving it and I feel so well.

I feel what I am losing is pure solid fat and it makes me so happy :D

I hope you start to notice a difference in your shape and size soon it really does spur you on.

    Good Luck Hun xxx

You must'nt be down hearted, it is still a good loss. By next week, you will be well on your way to losing your first stone! You will find that at times you will lose more inches than pounds so do measure yourself and start taking photos. I can't believe the difference in my appearance. Good luck. xXx

Everyone will lose weight at different rates. We get a bit disappointed when we some of the people on here who have fantastic losses every bloody week and think "why not me". one way or another, if you stick to the plan, your losses will be around a stone a month. Chin up, you have the hard part over i.e. getting started and through week one. Keep up the water and you will be fine.

Some weeks you might not lose as much as you hoped, but you should take measurements. And on the bad weeks, remeausure yourself. I have had 2 bad weeks in the last 2 weeks, but saying that I had bought a capri pants a few weeks ago, which wouldnt even meet to do up!! And 3 weeks later I am wearing them, there were tight last week (I wouldnt have been able to sit down in them lol), this week I could do gymnastics in them, if I so choose :) xx oh what a great feeling that was. My husband keeps asking me where all my new clothes are coming from. Some are new (not many) but the others are very old, he cant remember seeing me wearing them (granted it was a long long time ago..........) good luck for this week :) xx

I agree with the Inches, i have lost inches, i can now fasten my work pants when i could even wear them, and my skirt is looser.

I'm just going to keep going and hope for the best.

You really will notice the inch loss more when you have lower weight loss......thats what I found.
5lbs is a great loss....you want to weigh out 5lbs of rice and put it in a tight weave sock.......then carry it around with you.....you will soon realise what an achievement you have made
