Do/did you count your first week loss?


Slim for Summer!
I'm wondering if it's pointless or not, just because it's all glycogen & water. I don't want to think, 'YAY I lost 5lb!' & then when I'm done at the end of this diet (loooong time away), it comes back on when I start eating, so it's like a.. false loss?

Should I count the first week loss, or start counting from the second week? I don't know. :\

What do you guys think is best? :] x

Of course you count it-it's probably the best loss in a week that you'll get and so is a mahoosive boost. Plus althuogh a lot of it will be glycogen and water, some of it will be fat too!


Creating my life
Count your first week definitely. Then when you finish the diet slowly introduce carbs and keep your calories quite low - that should mean that you lose a bit more weight whilst replacing glycogen so it evens out.
My scales give me %body fat and even in the first 3 days 6lbs lost but 2.5% bodyfat. That equates to 4.3lbs of fat.

Count it - I will!!!
