Im only on wk 1 but my couclller was saying that on week 4 u have to have a add a meal week then u can go back to jst shakes/soups for aonther 3 weeks then a add a meal week again but wont i put weight on in the add a meal week ?
I've just started too and I was thinking exactly the same thing. I'm worried if I start eating i won't be able to stop again!! As far as I'm aware unless you're doing the CD under medical supervision you must add a meal.
During the AAMW the meals are very small andvery low in carbs so you shoudn't gain weight in that week. Some cdc's insist you have the add a meal whereas others say its up to you.
AAMW (Add A Meal Week) is done every week 5, after SS for 4 weeks. If you still have weight to lose (BMI over 25) you go back to 3 packs. AAMW is repeated every 5th week.
