Do you ever have one of those days ...

when everything goes wrong.

The batteries in my weighing scales died yesterday, so I went out and bought some from Tesco's - wrong size! Went to Waitrose and bought the right ones, only to find the weighing scales are broken!

Then realised that dishwasher had been stuck since early morning, tried all sorts of things and that is broken too . Have just done two days washing up and it is all over the kitchen.

DS wanted ice-cream and when I took it out I realised that freezer door must have been left slightly open as huge icebergs had formed preventing me from shutting the door.

I have just had to chip off the iceberg, then mop up the floor .

I hate housework - it puts me in a really bad mood .

I think I will go to bed early before I break anything else :cry:.

Hubby has just got in from work with a new set of scales and a bottle of vodka! Things are looking up
