I just went to the Dr. today to check my insulin levels. And the results was pretty good. My insulin or sugar was slightly higher than normal, however it's bad enough to be prescribed Metformin.
In other words my insulin levels are pretty much normal, it's just slightly above normal. So the Doctors talked and decided that my sugar levels really wasn't bad enough to be prescribed the medication. I have been referred to a dietitian and doing my own weight loss in order to resolved this problem. And I will be retested 6 months from now after I lose a bit more weight.
Has any one else come across this problem, and if so What did you wound up doing as an alternative.
