Hi just wondering if someone can help me.

I got my diagnosis last year for pcos and Endometriosis

I have really struggled with losing weight I just seem to go up and up

I have gained 10st in 6 years and can't seem to shift it

The doctor has prescribed me with 1500mg metformin the pill and orlistat
I have recently started slimming world in my first week lost 4.5lbs my second week I lost 2.5lbs then my 3rd I gained 1lb

I seem to be slowing down even though I have upped my exercise and I am sticking to the diet.

Just wondering if anyone has been diagnosed the same or been given the same
Prescription and if they find it does work I just need to give it time ?

Sorry for the long post

Hi Jess, whilst not being officially diagnosed with Pcos, I have a lot of the markers. I found the only way I can lose is to limit my carbs, which is a bit of a pain as I love then so much.

There is a pcos section on here that you might find some useful information. Link

Also if you go to group, have a chat with your consultant, they may have some suggestions and ideas.
