does it matter if you don't get the full 45g of fat in per day?

I was just wondering if it mattered that you don't use up the 45g of fat per day, I often end up having a total of around 21 grams of fat at the end of the day.

also if it does matter how do you fit it all in if you can't eat it all at meal times (is it right that you can't eat fat inbetween meals as your not taking a tablet with it?)

I'm sticking to fruit and mullerlight yoghurts if I feel the need to have snack but I havn't been hungry between my slim fast shakes during the day so havn't been having those either, but I do get a bit hungry in the evenings so have it then, I'm a bit wary of having them though because last tablet is taken with a meal in the evening.

I dont eat that much fat, so i wouldnt worry. My Dr said to avoid fat! Although i'm not that good, i still only have about what your having. The 45g bit is just a maximum. Still take your tablets as normal as they would get rid of a 1/3 of the fat you are eating.

ETA - i have essentially, 4 meals a day because i have to have supper. I take too many tablets at night time and cant have them on an empty stomach. So i usually have marmite on toast or something and i dont have a tablet with that. The tablets are to be taken with the meals containing the most fat. I try to keep snacks and supper low fat, then it doesn't matter too much.

thats just the daily allowance that you can go up to..what youre doing is right, dont worry!
