It has just dawned on me that I have been on a 'diet' or really just kidding myself on for 10 actual years!

Do you want to know what I have accomplished in this 10 years?

I started in 2008 at 12st 8lbs and at the beginning of this year I was 16st 7lbs.

What the f**k am I doing!!!!!

I need to get a good old grip on myself.

I'm a terrible one for binge eating, I just can't seem to stop myself.

Hi Dolly - sorry to hear you've hit a bump, but try and focus on what you've achieved so far to get to your goal.

I know that's easier said than done when you want to eat the entire contents of the fridge but how about trying to get rid of the food that you really want to binge on. Keep a record of what you eat - every mouthful - and (like me) you will be surprised at the times you feel like bingeing, emotional state, and so on - and then try and find things to do when those moments happen, to distract yourself.

I've just joined a FB group called Fighting the Food Monster Manual - about a guy called Tony who has lost 15 stone and written a book (it's about £6 on Kindle, I think) with tips on how to battle the psychological side of losing weight - very highly reviewed.

Big hugs sweetie, we all know it's not easy, but you can do this! xx

It is so hard and people who have never had a problem with eating just say well don't eat so much.

If it was that easy do you think anyone in the world would be fat, its horrible feeling like this and knowing that it is your own fault doesn't really make it feel any better.

Just having a rubbish day, need to try and snap out of it which I hope I can.

Thanks ladyfelsham.

You are right there Dolly. People just don't know what it is like.

Actually I have one slim sister out of three. She was the only "fatty" when we were children.
She found an article many many years ago about calories.
She went on a calorie plan and had been a nice size since.

However, she constantly reminded me she has to really work at being slim. A bit scary to me.
She is a good example and an exception to the above rule.

I find one wrong day leads to another until I get weighed, then I can start again.

Hope you can manage this time.

Just to say I am compulsive eater but I made a rule no matter what I will attend slimming class whatever.
Good luck. Xxxx

Have you tried meal replacement? Definitely not for everyone, but I'm finding it an excellent opportunity to examine my relationship with food and learn new responses and strategies around trigger points?

Nanny Doreen - I can imagine it is hard work to stay slim, hopefully one day we will know exactly what she means.

Achren - I lost over 2st at the beginning of the year with Cambridge Weight Plan so gonna get back on that. I really enjoyed the restriction of it so need to focus on that and also changing the way I think about food in general. Need to stop using it as a crutch.

Day 1 today!

Had 2 coffees already!

Just starting to feel awake now, will try to drink no more coffee at all for the rest of the day, will be clinging to the ceiling if I have any more! Feeling in a better place today. One of the girls in work gave me 14 CWP bars so I have plenty to keep me going. Will use up all this stuff then go back to my weekly WI's.

Want to be as close to the weight I was when I left as possible before I go back so its time to get my mojo back!

Day 1 of the new me is going well so far.

Have a bit of a headache, this will last for a few days. Been here before and it is worth it so gonna keep working through the pain.

It is a gorgeous sunny day and I can see loads of people in nice summery dresses, I will be one of them next year!

I have never tried the Cambridge. Don't want to really. Each to his own eh?

Good luck with your journey.

Yes one day hopefully we can say the same as my sister.

I have a dress from one of my sister's. Not worn it out yet, too embarrassed.
It is an 18/20 I believe. When I tried it on at her house, she made me put on black leggings. Looked so different. Didn't think I would ever put leggings on.

You and I are about the same weight.

Good stuff Dolly!
Naggy questions- sre you drinking enough? Particularly unadulterated water seems to make a difference I find(there is a sciency bit about water being needed to process fat- to do eith the chemical rxn- also keeps the liver clear for fat metabolising if you don't underwater your kidneys and force the liver to do their work for them).
Also- why are you planning to come off? Get it done girl- no mercy!! Dtay focused and you're done once and for all by October- bosch!!

I am drinking between 2.5 to 3l a day.

I know, I know more excuses already :classic_frown:

This week I have;

* Evita
* Tequila dinner
* Wicked

This is stuff that has all been planned for ages.

I'm going to make better choices even though I will be off the CWP products for the whole day and will be updating you all along the way!

Promise :classic_big_grin:

Try and stay keto! Grilled meat (if you do), green veg, no alcohol and all will be good! If you do drink, have some carbs, but best to do neither or you'll just prolong the grim getting into ketosis bit! How important is the tequila??

15.05.2018 - Day 2 of the new me - COMPLETE :classic_big_grin:
B - CWP chocolate shake
L - CWP mint chocolate bar
D - CWP mint chocolate bar
Drinks - 500ml water, 2 CWP vegetable drinks, black tea, 3 black coffees o_O

Day 2 was a success, the headache eased a bit so happy with that.

Today in work I have a lunch out for someones 30th birthday but this is a day I am sticking to CWP 100% so will take my bar with me and order a black coffee and water. In fact I think it's just all the boys that are going so I might even leave lunch this time.

Will pop back on throughout the day.

Just having my first black coffee and bottle of water now.
