I was training today and we had lunch provided which was cottage pie, new potatoes and carrots with gravy. The portion was small but I don't know how many syns to take for it?

difficult to say, cottage pie was probably made with, at best, lean mince but most likely 'normal' mince, the mash probably had butter/FF milk. I would syn it for a ready made cottage pie that you would buy from the supermarket HTHs

Thats great thanks, it's hard when you have little control and the training was in the middle of nowhere with no shops nearby. I'll look for a ready meal syn value now.
