Wow you've got a laundry thief then! Bless him must have been such a worry but thank goodness he is on the mend! Xx

Yeah bless him. We have to keep an eye on him and the next 5 days is crucial. If his staples rupture he could die so got to make sure he's careful. Fingers crossed he recovers fully.

Update on dog
He had exploratory op today. The vet found a sock or slipper in 2 pieces in his intestine. It's very sore and angry. It wasn't looking good earlier but he has made an amazing recovery and the vet has allowed him home tonight. He's out of it on morphine at the moment and resting lots. Hopefully he should be ok.

I know he's not out of the woods yet and you're going to have to watch him like a hawk, but good that it's not more sinister. Fingers crossed he makes a really speedy recovery.

DYJHIW... you forget you are bidding on ebay and miss out on a bargain by 5p!!!

Yeah definitely! Here's a pic of the little one. He's looking a lot better than yesterday so just hope that 5 days passes by and he doesn't do anything strenuous as he's only 2 and still acts like a puppy lol

Dyjhiw you have got to go into your sons school because he's upset about how another boys being to him. My son is no angel but I am fuming about the way this boy is being and i think its because of a decision the school made not to put him in the same class as my son and some of his other friends and the fact that they are in year 6 and being territorial etc
Not a happy mummy!

Good luck! When I did the same thing for Dort they blamed HER for being bullied, like it was her fault kids followed her home throwing things at her and calling her names! It ended up that I collected her from the office daily, the deputy head tried to stop me so I reported the teachers and school and took her out. Bloody schools anti bullying policies.... Most are no more than paper wastage!

Schools are very difficult I know it is so often about the paperwork and not the issue!
We have so many issues with our son being the problem but he seems to have got to a much calmer point now and the thought of that being threatened by this is making my blood boil.
We spent years telling him not to hit out and deal with things that way and speak to an adult etc but when he was telling us last night I wanted to say smack him one! and had to almost put hands over hubbys mouth to stop him from saying it.

We had problems with our daughter at school & I found whenever there was an issue it was easier for them to blame DD, it did make me very angry & I also had to collect her so many times from the school office. I'm so glad those days are over.
Dyjhiw you discover that you are about #250 worse off this month than you thought :sigh: think I need to go back to bed!

Oh I feel your pain, as you know we've just been away & I paid for the hotel, except in my financial calculations I forgot I was paying so now need to gather 353€ from somewhere:confused:

I agree completely. I had to leave secondry school because the stress of being constantly bullied made me really ill. All the school said was "dont be silly they are your friends" yeah some friends! The main problem was that half the teachers were downright bullies too, I actually had a French teacher who kept giving me detentions for not doing a particular piece of homework when in fact I had done it 3 times. After handing the 4th copy in I left the classroom, realised I had left something behind and walked back in to the teacher ripping my homework up! Schools like that should be shut down :(
I hope the problems your son is facing are dealt with soon x

The teachers ought to be banned from children!!!!
My brother severely dyslexic was told in a science lesson to sit at the back with a ladybird book as he wouldn't understand anything (in front of the class), the science teacher was surprised when the wooden stool narrowly missed his head and smashed his blackboard!!!!!
However he did leave shortly afterwards to become a gas man!
It was that incident that led to ME aged 15 telling the deputy head that I thought he was dyslexic, he got tested but too late for him to gain anything from school! He is in fact one of the cleverest people I know!
