DYJHIW you have a fantastic weekend away and come home to world war 4, and your father gets violent and they threaten to throw me out-just totally proving my point that nothing I will ever do will make me good enough for them :banghead:

DYJHIW everyone around you is talking about how they only have 4/5 more days in work til January! And I'm working right thru-my next day off is jan 1st :banghead:

It's awful isn't it, I was going to be a bit more relaxed this week but decided now I can't do that as I don't just relax a bit I go crazy. So I'm going to stick to plan this week, and the days between Christmas and new year where I don't have plans. I'm not going to save syns for the days I do have plans, hopefully if I still allow myself the 5 - 15 syns a day it might stop me thinking oh stuff it might as well be a pig

Fingers crossed for you hun - im sure it wont be as bad as you think stay strong

Need to make sure I keep up the exercise too hopefully that will counteract some of it. Dreading getting weighed tomorrow

Haha I'll let you know, if I loose or maintain I'm going to be paranoid its only because it hasn't had chance to settle as a gain yet :p haha.

Just need to decide next weeks WI as well, shall I go before or after Christmas, I'm tempted to go after as then I'll know that gain (will be expecting another one after new years) but also tempted before as then I will have both gains in one... hmmm decisions

DYJHIW you want to smack someone for taking their charmed life for granted, but you know it'd do no good?

A friend of mine is an utter ***** to her husband sometimes, screaming down the phone at him the other day (he was at my house picking up their daughter), and just now she made her umpteenth Facebook post having a not-so-sly dig at him. If the Joker treated me even half as badly as she treats her husband, we'd have been over for good pretty sharpish! She's disabled and her husband does SO MUCH for her - both caring for her and their three kids, and working two jobs - but she's still got to be snide and horrible about him when he forgets to do something. She does it about her 7-year-old (middle child) too. One minute she's singing his praises (again, on FB in front of 85 people!) and the next she's going on about what a little **** he is. The sad thing is that both the husband and the child are the sweetest, most gentle people you could hope to meet, and she doesn't appreciate them at all.

DYJHIW due to budgetary reasons the only Xmas spending money you have is CEX vouchers you earnt by trading in your old games and DVDs.

I had a good £200 of vouchers, but I feel terrible as while I've been able to get everyone the things they asked for (DVDs and games) they are all second hand and I feel like a cheapskate :( I've tried to get all ones that are in the best condition, but some of them are clearly preowed and it makes me feel really terrible.

I have no problem with preowed stuff for myself - most of my clothes, games, DVDs, furniture (including my sofa) and even my wedding dress! - were all second hand, but it's different having to do it for other people :(

Jezzi its the thought that counts and people should see that.

This is why Xmas bugs me so much as its so commercialised.

I honestly wouldn't let it concern you. Most people can't remember who got what by the next Xmas anyway so don't sweat it xx
