Dried shrimp, free?

Honeyoc

Is a crunchy mama!
I cook a lot of Thai and W. African food which calls for dried shrimp a lot of the time and it just occurred to me that they might not be free! I know dried versions of free foods (fruit etc) are not free so do you think dried shrimp, dried crayfish etc would be free? I usually use about a heaped tablespoon per recipe for 4 so I'll end up with something like a tsp in my portion. Any ideas?

Sorry I've no idea. I use a few ingredients from the local asian shops and ther's no way to be sure of the syn values as they're not listed and there's no nutritional info on them. I just play it by ear, not have them too often and keep an eye on the scales in between

Good idea Circes. I'm trying not to overthink things, afterall I didn't get fat eating 1 tsp of ground shrimp lol.
