drinking is the nightmare for my weight.
I am now maintaining my weight but when I was losing weight through calorie counting (lost over 4 stone on LL first) I was losing 2-2.5lbs a week. On one week I had some alcohol on a night out, it was only vodka and diet coke but that week I gained 1lb. I did lose that 1lb the week after but it has made me realise that whether it's water gain or something else, alcohol makes me gain weight.
It happened twice more after this too so I know it wasn't a coincidence, it's definitely the alcohol. I didn't even have that much of it so it wasn't the calories of it.
Everyone is different though and some of my friends can drink loads and not gain weight, others like me gain just by having a few.
I used to drink a lot of alcohol and now I have realised I don't need to drink it to have fun. Although I will be drinking it at my Hen do next month and my Wedding in July and my honeymoon ha ha. I will lose it afterwards.
