Just realised strepsils are probably not useable!!! But was wondering about effervescent vit c tablets? Or lemsip? Is it just going to have to be two paracetamol and some echinacea tea?
Any ideas would be appreciated as I feel blurgh!

I've had that problem Caledonia, in the end I had to actually deviate to get over my cold but it was a horribly persistent one and I knew I'd have to have lemons/oranges/honey/ginger *whiskey* ;) but perhaps you could steep and drain some root ginger and have just the hot ginger, is that against Dukan? I don't know but am sure it would help as Chinese have been using it for EONS and also simply steaming your head in a bowl of tea-tree is great for a head cold... Or you can make a massive pot of chicken soup x

I think the soluble vit c should be fairly ok, as there's no sugar in them (sure they're not strictly dukan but near as damn it). Also, I find sugar free hot squash is really good - and you can have as much as you want! :) hope you feel better soon x

Can we really have sugar free squash? I missed that!
Thanks for all the tips guys, making chicken soup tomorrow, steaming with tea tree tonight and will get ginger in in the shopping!
