Easiyo Ice Cream Syn Query.

Hi,
Can anyone help me with working out the syn value of this. This amount makes 1.5 litres. I have seen it on other posts as 7 syns for 1.5 litres, but if i work it out the way my consultant says it's 50.5 syns!

Energy 692 kJ/165 kcal 278 kJ/67 kcal Protein 5.3 g 2.1 g Carbohydrate total 22.7 g 9.1 g Carbohydrate of which sugars 21 g 9.1 g Fat total 6.1 g 2.5 g Fat of which saturated 4.5 g 1.8 g Fibre 0 g 0 g Sodium 0.053 g 0.021 g Calcium (24% of RDI*) 190 mg 76 mg
Any help much appreciated.

By the look of the fat that's in it you might be best just working out the calories and then using the 20cals = 1 syn rule

Yep, 1 syn for every 20 calories so 8 syns for whatever the amount the nutritional information is for.

That would be 250ml serving, so the 50.5 syns isn't far out as you would get 6 servings.

Hadn't heard of this rule.

It only works where there is no free food allowance but is useful for snack foods
