Eating disorder!

So guys my oh just said that i will end up with an eating disorder dont worry im not remotely upset by it i just find it very ignorant! Offensive i suppose, i know an eating disorder is an illness but i know i am much stronger than that and i would hope people who know me know that too! My reaction was just a smirk!

Strange isnt it how people cannot understand or even try to understand something that they dont agree with? More fool them i say. I am a very healthy size 14 and loving it!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I'm sure you did look fine before. But then, he=overweight, you=overweight = kinda equal. Now, him=overweight, you=babe. Not so equal now! He is way out of his comfort zone! Wonder why he hasn't joined you? Has he ever been tempted?

He honestly doesnt see it as an issue for him, saying that he wont weigh himself! He hasnt been tempted as far as i know..he just said there is no way he could not have food but dont we all think that at first?! He should though, he could do with the extra energy especially for our daughter xxx

Well, it's great that you have the sense not to let him undermine you. Shame that he won't even try sensible eating, if he can't do LT, as you say, for his health's sake.

You have done so well, and are so supportive to everyone on the forum, Tracy. As we all know, you have to want to lose weight for yourself.

you said he is overweight but it doesnt bother him - but maybe deep down he is a bit jealous that you have lost the weight and he hasn't, when you were bigger it made him feel ok to eat the junk. When you are both bigger its ok to overeat together but now you're stronger, he knows its bad really. Whether he thought you looked ok before or not he should still support you and not try to undermine your efforts. I agree with the others I think he's feeling a bit insecure, my ex husband whinged about my weight all the time yet when I lost it all (I was once a size 10!!!) he became really jealous and started accusing me of affairs etc, men are nuts!!

I'm lucky when I started (on W8) my OH was happy the way I was- but has seen how happy I am and is really proud of me and has lost some weight himself in support and because he realised it wasn't healthy for him to be overweight either.

I know I don't know you, but I just wanted to say "Good for you" - stay strong - you are doing this for yourself not him and you are looking amazing by the way!

You are very right hun and i cant preach to him as i was obese for a while! Its fine if he wants to eat rubbish but i am not, not for anybody and what i eat now compared to what he has would seem like im anorexic lol xx
