EE - 1/3 superfree

S: 19st12.5lb C: 15st12lb G: 13st7lb BMI: 32.8 Loss: 4st0.5lb(20.29%)
Quick question - EE going really well, getting my 1/3 superfree in my meals. But just had the carbonara pasta - yum, yum btw - but didn't want to add veg to it. Can you have your superfree as fruit for dessert or does it have to be as part of your main meal?

If it is just for 1 meal and you have had plenty of 1/3 superfree through out the day with other meals, then I wouldnt worry about it too much. As long as you are not overindulging on carbs and proteins then I can't see the problem with one meal not having a 1/3 superfree.

That is my take on it anyway.

Thanks for that. Stuffed my face with the pasta carbonara though. My mum was commenting on how you are able to lose weight eating all that. All free food though, just need to learn to eat slower. :rolleyes:

I spoke to my C about this last week (on rejoining since the extra easy was introduced). She said The 1/3 superfree food was to fill out the meal and therefore leave you feeling fuller longer. I asked if I 'had' to have the 1/3 superfree food incorporated into the meal and she explained that I didn't I could eat it seperately.

I originally thought it had something to do with food combining but my C told me it had nothing to do with that at all and was simply to bulk up the meals.

I hope this makes sense.
