Eggs

On E Source it says that a medium egg is 1 PP so when cooked in fry light it should stay the same shouldnt it, yet at the meeting my leader says it is 2 for an egg. I thought that it was only 2PP if it is boiled. Is there anyone out there that can clear this up for me please?.

Just typed egg into the iphone app.... it says:

Egg, boiled - 2pp
Egg, fried with fat - 3pp
Egg, poached without fat - 1pp

Therefore, i'd say it would be 1pp if fried without fat....

Dont understand why it goes up to 2pp when boiled tho?

On e-source WW have just confused matters because they use different egg sizes and have mixed ounces and grams!

If you search for egg you can see the following in the list-

Egg, Boiled 1 egg 45g=2P

Egg, Hard Boiled 1 large 65g=3P

Egg, Poached (without fat) 1oz 28g=1P

Egg, Whole 1oz 28g=1P

Click on ANY of those and enter your own egg weight and you will get the same PP for all of those entries!

So an egg that is 2PP raw, is still 2PP cooked. 2PP is what WW call a medium egg, 45g.

Why are boiled eggs more than poached? They're both cooked in water. I'm confused.

Medium eggs are 2pp per egg. The tracker for some reason has the default 'portion' for egg set to 1oz rather than 1egg!
They are 2pp no matter how they are cooked - don't forget to add points for oil if you fry :)
