Hrm, tried one of these before but I went a little off plan and the thread floated into no mans land. Second attempt! Hopefully, this will be a bit more substansial than the last.

First official day back on SW didn't really go too well. I majorly over slept which meant I slept through breakfast. Bad times. Here's the days food intake:

Extra Easy

Breakfast: Void

Morning snack
: Slice of ham, banana.

Lunch: Pasta bake (including pasta, mince and plenty of peppers, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes and spinach and had a total of 3 syns in the entire dish).

Dinner
: More pasta bake!

Evening snack: Choc mousse - 3 syns Options hot choc with low fat squiry cream (made with HEX) - 3 syns.

Total syns: 9

I'm aware I missed a HEX but this is a one off - I shall be making more of an effort with not HEX but more fruit and veg in the days to come. Bring it on!

Early dinner:
Minted lamb shanks (3 syns) with roasted sweet potatoes and lots of carrots and green beans.

Going to try and plan todays meals and snackage in advance and see how it goes:

Ham and laughing cow toastie (1 syn) and a kiwi.


Morning snack: Banana.


Lunch:
Packet pasta with tuna, peppers, onions, mushrooms and cucumber.


Dinner: Fish in breadcrumbs (2 syns) with new potatoes and veg.


Evening Snacks: Options hot choc with cream (3 syns) and lime, rasberry and chocolate trifle (3 syns).

Total syns: 9 syns

It seemed to work pretty well yesterday (the whole planning in advance thing), so I'm sticking to it for now. Hope I'm not eatting too much!

Weetabix (HEX) and an apple.

Morning snack: Kiwi.


Lunch:
Pasta with tuna, light mayo (2 syns), raw peppers, cucumber, spring onion and tomato.


Dinner: Roasted red peppers stuffed with sticky chilli pork and mushrooms topped with cheese (HEX)
served with rice and vegetables.

Evening Snacks: Options hot choc with cream (3 syns) and jelly, raspberries and cream (2 syns) and banana.

Total syns: 7 syns

Just planning in advance for tomorrow - I feel a bit rubbish today. I feel all heavy and yuck, I guess it's because I'm having the mother-of-all star weeks. :( Good news though, jumped on the wii fit to do a bit of exercise and I've lost 6lbs since I started back on. I'm now back at the weight I was before Christmas so anything from here on is a plus! Good times.

Butternut squash, carrot and swede soup with 1 slice of wholemeal bread (3 syns).

Chicken in black bean sauce (5.5 syns) with boiled rice.

Starbar, half a BIG bar of chocolate, 2 cupcakes and 2 glasses of non diet coke (An awful lot of syns :( )

Might be thinking ahead a bit too much, but just want to write this down while it's floating around in my brain before I forget it!

Extra easy:

Breakfast: Weetabix with milk (HEX) and fruit.

Lunch: Jacket potato, tuna mayo (3 syns) and salad.

Dinner: Indian food night so basmati rice, onion salad, beef madras, onion bhajis, curried loaf, mushroom skewers and some mint and garlic dip (yum)! Really can't wait.

Snacks:
Choc and raspberry Cupcake (3 syns) and hot chocolate (3 syns).

Total syns
: 9

Dinner: Turkey and spinach pasta with roasted cherry tomatoes and lots of mushrooms.

Hum, have had an awful couple of days. I've either been really ill because I've been off plan or off plan because I've been really ill - regardless, I'm back on track now. I've done a massive food shop and got plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, I've also got a white board and personal diary to help maintain my progress! I'm going to use the white board to write down everything I have to eat throughout the day and how much exercise I do. Hopefully, it'll give me an extra boost! I'm also now drinking fruit and herbal tea instead of diet coke - will see if it makes a difference!

Extra easy:

Breakfast: Chicken sandwich (HEX + 1 syn), raspberry tea and melon.

Lunch: Uncle bens rice (2 syns) and chicken, more melon!

Dinner: Cottage pie (2 syns) with sprouts and carrots.

Snacks: Strawberries and yogurt, jelly (0.5 syn), muller light, herbal tea.

Might attempt to make a SW friendly low syn mousse tonight! Not too sure yet so I'll have a think and update later if I do. Woo, almost the weekend! :)

Had a bit of a sleep in so I missed breakfast! Woops.

Sundays are my favourite! Also went shopping yesterday to get something nice to wear on Valentines day (2 weeks tomorrow!) and bought a really nice top and some shorts in a size 18, spent the whole time worrying they wouldn't fit, got home, tried them on and they're a little too big! :D Very exciting.

Uhhh, tiredness. I feel really heavy today so I'm going to try and kick up my losses this week by throwing in some red days! Struggling a bit as to what to have for lunches but I'm sure I'll work it out.

Had my home weigh in this morning - lost 5lbs! So shocked! It's really motivated me to push it this week though so I'm sure happy. :D

Special occasion tonight so trying to cook something nice for my OH. I asked him what he'd like.. damn his love of things in breadcrumbs!

Red day:

Lunch: Turkey breast, a few strawberries.


Anniversary dinner!

Starter: Minced beef skewers with salad and garlic dip.

Dinner: Grilled (HEX) pork in breadcrumbs with stuffed mushrooms and BNS chips.

Dessert: Jelly, cake and whipped cream trifle (5 syns).
