Enough is enough!

I have officially had enough of trying (and failing!) to lose weight, so have decided to bite the bullet and go hardcore with the Cambridge Weight Plan. I've lost 5 stone before on weight watchers, but after moving in with my now husband I have slowly put almost all of that back on.

I am now on week 3 of the Cambridge plan and will be logging my progress on here to keep me motivated.

Week 1: 7lb lost
I found week 1 easier than I thought. I was starving for the first 2 days and ate a couple of boiled eggs one day and a bit of chicken the next, but after that found it ok which I really wasn't expecting. I tried the porridges, shakes, soups and meals. The shakes are my favourite and I've been having the meals for dinner so it feels like I'm actually eating something.

Week 2: DISASTER! weight maintained (total - 7lb)
I went away this weekend for a hen do. I planned on taking the tetra shakes with me to help me stay on plan, but they were vile so I ended up going completely off plan. Lots of cocktails were consumed and the hangover the next day made me eat McDonalds!! BUT I was straight back on it and I'm pleased with my maintain.

Week 3:
This week I've been ok. I went for lunch with my husband as a treat. I felt bad going off plan, but we don't do these things very often and I hate to see him suffering just because I can't eat normal food. We went to Pizza Express and I had a leggera pizza and just had the one cambridge product that day. We've also got to go out for dinner later in the week with friends which is annoying because I'm feeling really focused and want to stay on plan, so I'll just have a salad with no carbs. This plan is terrible if you want to socialise isn't it? But it gets results so I'm going to stick with it. I'm really starting to miss 'proper' food now and have started adding some mushrooms and spinach into my meals (tikka rice and bolognaise). I know you're not supposed to but it can't hurt right? And I think if it helps me stay on track it's not THAT bad!
