excel

    Does anyone know after I have put a subtotal function on excel how I get rid of the formulars so I can then sort?

    does highlighting and using the A-Z thingy mess up your formulas

    or am I barkign up the wrong tree

    If you are asking, what I think you're asking, then I would do, copy, edit, paste special, and click the values bit

    That way, the formulas disappear, leaving just the answer

    Of course, if you weren't thinking what I thought you were thinking...that wont work :D

    thanks guys! I worked it out. I HATE excel! it is so clever and I am not :)
