Hey guys. I'm thinking of purchasing an exercise mat so I can do sit ups and other physical work outs which involve lying on the floor in my bedroom, I'm just wondering what sort of thickness should I be looking at? I have seen a few on eBay, like 10mm thick just wondering if thats adequate for doing sit ups etc.? Thanks.

that's pretty standard for these kind of mats - but if you have a carpet you should be fine.

I do mine just directly on the floor without a mat and Its okay - but you are probably going to do more than I do :D

    Have fun.

I was wondering about that too. The ones I see in the stores are so small in size, I want something larger so when I lie on my side to do leg lifts, from the knee down there is no mat.
