    Hi,
I joined SW this evening after being a long term member of ww.
Do you gain syns for exercise?

No you don't - that would not make any sense as having more syns ( or 'naughty' foods) would just defeat the purpose of all the exercise. I can understand why WW do it as you need to take in more calories (hence more points) for your increased activity but on SW you have all your free foods for this.

No you don't. But exercise is recommended :) the plan will work without it, but most people will find better losses in the long run, with diet and exercise combined :)

Just asking questions to get a feel for this new plan. I suppose I have to drop my previous ww thinking. Thanks again to all who are sharing their knowledge.

No worries at all!! I'm totally new to this and I've spent the past few hours trying to get a handle on it so I don't eat the wrong things tomorrow... Fingers crossed!
