Have you thought of pilates class, or maybe an exercise dvd specific to the areas you want to focus on

Its important to remember you cant reduce fat in specific areas so having an overall programme to use up excess energy is the way forward. You can then focus on building up musle tone - again its important to have an all body workout to prevent muscle imbalance. I am a physiologist for the NHS so feel free to ask any questions.
