Extra lean mince - where can I buy it?

I like mince beef as I love things like spag bol, chilli, shepherds pie etc but I find I end up cutting out most red meat as it's so much higher in cals and fat. I know there's got to be extra lean mince out there somewhere but I never see anywhere that sells it, does anyone else buy it and if so, where from?

My nearest asda is far! I might have to shop online, my local sainsburys doesn't have it, just the normal mince.

Check other supermarkets using the online shopping thingy. Maybe tesco or somewhere thats closer do it too

Our sainsburys does it, and our tesco. Maybe they were just out of stock or something? Sometimes its above eye level so do ask someone helpful in either store

Morrisons, tesco and asda all do it, I get mine from butchers its alot cheeper, might b worth nipping in to ur butchers and asking.

This is probably a really thick question...if you drain lean mince will that reduce fat/calories?

Tesco do it .... less than 5% fat. I use it all the time ...

Quite a few of the supermarkets do it, but as someone else pointed out it's sometimes called Extra Lean Minced Steak x
