I just found out a level tablespoon of nutella is 4 syns. Well as mine was a huge heaped dollop, I think I'll settle on 10. Shocking lol. So 14 for the week so far. Not bad.
I only plan to have a little drink on Saturday night so hopefully I'll stay within my syns. Need a loss this week.
 
Well it's a brand new week for me and i am going to try to keep the Syns to a minimum today as I am going away tomorrow night for the weekend. It's my anniversary on Saturday. I will take stuff like mugshots that I can make up in my room (we are staying in a b&b) and try to be as good as I can!

Any other ideas for low Syn/free food that I can keep in my room or take out?
 
Well I lost 2lbs this week. A good loss I know but a bit annoyed as I have been sick as so not eaten much of anything and I think this has screwed my weight this week as I'll probably have water retention now etc. I think I might have a gain next week as I'm only just starting to eat properly and I think I will munch everything in sight soon!

please someone give me a slap, im having one of those days when everything seems against you iykwim? it started with me sleeping on the sofa last night after a fight with OH, now all the little things are eating away at me and now i've just had a argument with a b*tchy woman from barclays thats sent me into the downwards spiral.

must admit i went to Greggs after weigh in, instead of staying for class :eek:


now i just feel like bingeing :sad0071:

Oh these **** days happen to the best of us don't they? Try to stay strong and remember why your doing this. You can't control somethings in your life (OH included unfortunatley) but you can control what you eat. You will feel so much better at the end of today if you dont binge and take back the control now. It's WI day we all go a little over on WI today so just think of it like that and get back on plan.

OR choose something you really fancy get baby down for a sleep and sit down and really enjoy it. Sometimes you have to give yourself a break - only you know if today is really one of those days or whether you are just annoyed with OH!

Sorry to hear your feeling low but don't let other people control your diet.

Anyone can pi$$ us off at any time but it is ultimately up to us how we respond to that. Stop and think for a minute: You could have 2 identical days, you could wake up in a fantastic mood and things like that you would let roll off you. Wake up in a bad mood and these people really get to you and it feels like they are all conspiring to give you a bad day. You can turn a bad day around. Put on a feel-good dvd, get some low Syn snacks and a hot drink and lift your spirits. You will soon realise that the arsey woman at Barclays is the one with the problem!

Thanks ladies. i very rarely have days like this so its been a shock! I have put baby Eve to bed, it even feels like she doesnt like me today. i think it might actually be *week coming up, been a bit erratic lately which made me stop taking the pill, so could be a case of hormones all over the shop:sigh:

so i will admit to having a cheese & bacon turnover from greggs, a chocolate yazoo & a part baked roll with lots of butter when i got home :eek:

will have a smash pizza or something nice & green for tea and jump back on track ready for tomorrow. if one good thing has come out of this its the fact that after doing without it for so long - butter is not as nice as i remembered :rolleyes:
 
Most things aren't as nice as you remember them. I used to live off processed and artificially flavoured food. I recently bought a tin of meatballs which I used to love and they were actually horrible! I much prefer the Quorn ones with a tin of spaghetti now
 
Hi everyone. Had the last of the chilli that I made at the beginning of the week for lunch - well actually it was at about 11am but I didn't want breakfast food I wanted real food. ha!
Now I'm going to make something for tea. Not sure what.
I took grapes and diet coke to uni and snacked on those while everyone around me ate pasties and crisps. I felt so good!
Then I got a call that my children had been in a car crash. Luckily they're both ok. Just a bit shook up. Not enough to stop them going to the disco this evening, from which I have to pick them up in an hour. Can't wait to see them.
