Fed up - missed my 1st goal

I am going away next week and was determind to get from my starting size of 18/20 to a size 16, as a lot of my last summer clothes are in that size.

But I tried them on again this morning, and I STILL can't get the buttons to meet on the trousers.

I'm still wearing the same jeans I wore on day 1, albeit with a belt. I've lost 31lb's and I have gone down to a size 16 on top, but I'm still pretty much the same size on the bottom.

I really don't know what else I can do? Whenever I've lost weight before it's always been at the same rate top and bottom, but this is just wierd.

Any suggesstions, as I was SO desperate to be into the next size down by this week, and thought that 8 weeks would be enough to drop a dress size:mad::sigh:

I just wanted to say well done on your weight loss achieved to date. I'm sure in the next weeks the bottom half will catch up with the top!X

Sorry to hear that you are feeling down it can be so frustrating trying to shift weight from certain places.

On the positive side you have made a good indent into your overall goal with your 31lbs and that is a great achievement and as Camilla said the bottom half will catch up hopefully next week.

Hi Dinosaur, 31lbs off is brilliant...congratulations :D My top and bottom aren't the same size either and the bottom is losing quicker than the top...frustrating but I just keep thinking to myself that it's all got to go eventually.
My bottom half is losing inches slower than the top too. I carry a lot of my weight on my bum hips and tum and that's where I wanted it off first, but sods law it's come off my waist and bust most. Don't worry hun I'm sure our bottom halves will catch up soon.
