    Hello Nicolas,

Do you not need to go to your weigh in to get more shakes??

This diet is very hard and I would advise that if your serious about losing weight on LT then stay away from food situations like dinner parties and BBQ's until your completley comfortable that your into the swing of things and know that you are starting to get away from your food demons.

aaah cool! How do you do that?

Hopefully you will still be in ketosis, Dont let this knock you down :) You have the stength inside you (youve done two weeks) so you know you can do it!!

Dont let the guilt drive you to food again either, the best way to look at it is...

"I really want to get to my goal, today it was a BBQ, what will it be next? I have the will power and determination to do this and I WILL do it" :)

    Good luck Nicolas xxxx

Exactly what chell said dude. Don't beat yourself up about it. Ok, you ate, move on now. Start again. It is hard with these situations, I avoid them at all costs though because it is hard.

Even if you do gain anything, I am very sure it would be very small, if you go back to your shakes, you may be lucky enough to not gain anything at all :)

    Good luck :hug99:

    Hi Nicolas,
Sorry you had a break to your diet but you say your determined it won't happen again and I hope that it works for you. We can all have difficulties with dieting but once we keep going that is all that matters.
In regard to not going for the weigh in, isn't that about accountability to ourselves and the scales and whether we have lost or gained. That's the difference between this and other diets, on others we can miss a week then be good the second week and show up at the slimming club to be weighed. We don't have to discuss how we were the previous week if the scales show a weight loss. But we know!, or can we fool ourselves into thinking it never happened.
Speaking for myself I like the accountability of the weigh-in, in front of someone else who marks it down. I am not there to please them but they are another tool I use to get to my goal.

Sorry if this sounds like preaching but this diet only works with 100% commitment and you have shown you can do that in the previous weeks, one slip doesn't show lack of commitment, it just shows our vulnerabilities. However if you feel that if the scales showed a gain it would put you off, then you of course know yourself better and have to do what you feel best.
    Good luck with this week.
    Doirin
