Who knows?? I think I'm normal, others I know will disagree! :p
Obviously your 'natural' instincts are once again steering you towards whats 'right' for you!

I have done slimming world and believe me I have done em all... lol They say that you can have unlimited things like chicken etc on a red day, well i found myself not losing cus I would eat a whole chicken and more if I could... so there must be thousands of cals in that alone. I didn't lose much on SW but I know lots who have, it just wasn't right for me. I think CC is cus I can see how I can bring this way of eaing into 'normal' existence. You don't need a book, or expensive fees. All cals are on the back of most products or I look it up on the net...

I think cc is the sanest method of dieting. Food is food. All has equal value some you pay a higher price in calories and if you have those foods you have less to eat etc, nothing is off limits or taboo... if you fancy some chocolate orange you can have some so long as you count it in...

I used to do SW aswell and I ate a lot of potato because it said it was okay to...I mean a lot! That's why I started calorie counting and it's worked so much better, plus I'm not as grumpy as I was on SW either. Do what you feel happiest doing honey.

Don't give me 'free' foods on a diet- theres no such thing!!! I used to starve myself on WW to allow myself to drink myself stupid at the weekends, or would use all my points on rubbish- then wonder why I wasn't losing anything?? Duh!!!!

an earlier poster also said there is no such thing as free food and there isn't...

ALL foods have cals in them and therefore energy and weight gain. If I even have a salad I count it in... and interesting how much cals there is in some fruit and veg it can be alot!! Anything that is food is fuel and nothing is 'free', less cals, absolutely but free ... no

IMO alot of weight loss schemes are gimicks to make money, it's all about making money at the end of the day. Even ww has only exchanged cals for points so you have to buy their books to find out the points value???, it doesn't make sense does it when you think about it, when you already have the cal value, talk about making life harder, then you have to convert cals to points ... makes no sense. May as well work in cals I say, thats why I gave up WW. The one thing SW and WW do offer is a supportive group but even then I find out you turn up weigh and go, no one really supports each other..

Here is free, we support each other in ways that perhaps we wouldn't at a group cus of the anonimity of the net.... and you have to post your weight still ...

It's alot better and I have money in my pocket not given to stupid schemes.
