Step 1 Sole Source + First fail

Ok so I skipped my lunch bar in favour of a double decker. I used the excuse of needing something sweet after nearly passing out at gym.

But then I ended up munching some of my oh garlic ciabatta this evening (not a whole one!)

Now I'm feeling like crap. Fat. Depressed. Like I've screwed ketosis and this weeks wi :(

And now thinking why didn't I just go all put and have a bloody kebab! Why waste it on some crappy garlic bread!! X
 
I have failed this evening and last night. First time in 14 weeks and I feel awful!

I feel exactly the same. I even text my CDC. But like she said you can do nothing to change it now but you can change how you move on from it. You can forget it and move on in a positive way. Making sure you do no further damage. Or you can dwell and keep cheating and make it worse.

We can do it. We can get back on it. And feel better by the end of the day :)

Its a blip not a fail, that applies to both of you! Mistakes happen, its how you deal with them after.. jump straight back on today as it won't be worth it, believe me! Let us know how you get on x
 
I feel okay and I'm back in control.

I just don't know what happened! I've spent 14 weeks with so much temptation that hasn't bothered me so I don't know why it happened then.

I just have to draw a line under it and move on I think.

I've been good today! Even went out for lunch and had chicken and lettuce :) my ss+ meal.

So I'm feeling back in control again!

I also feel stupid and don't even know why I did it - I wouldn't even say I overly enjoyed it :( wi tomorrow hope I haven't screwed things up :( xx
 
Even if its bad news tomorrow you just have to draw a line under it and move on. Don't sit on it.

I've definately learnt my lesson!

Well I've just weighed on a friends scales and it says I've put on 6 lbs. :(

Not sure how accurate that is though?

Oh I'm sure that's not correct. Remember you have to eat 3500 cals over your daily needs to gain 1lb.

What did you end up eating? Was it high sodium? Could be water?

My scales haven't moved. But I only had that chocolate and a bit of garlic bread so wasn't too high in sodium or very high in cals! Wi tomorrow :a xxx
 
Well I had a meal on Sunday and Monday but they wernt very bad dinners or high carb dinners but on sunday I had a small cupcake with a tiny bit of icing, and a slice of bread then on Monday a biscuit and 2 chocolates.

But to be fair I've never weighed on those scales before.

I'm sure it's scale discrepancy then! Don't let it get you down :)

And that's not too bad! Could have been a much worse foody binge!!

Tbh I'm surprised I haven't completely nose dived into a giant vat of kebabs pizzas sandwiches cakes and biscuits bit does make me think - if you can resist them now why couldn't you before. But on the other hand it also makes me think well your be able to do it in the future!! :)

I know what you mean! But I suppose being so strong for so long! And sometimes our minds weaken and unfortunately we can only be so strong xx

Yeah I was fine! It was almost like as soon as I'd done it it was outta my system and I could move on!

I had no issues getting back on plan! You?

Well hopefully your slip back into ketosis with ease. You must have done a step up week by now? Was that hard going back down again? Xx
 
Well not a happy bunny -1lb for me this week.


Thinking I may do a ss week rather than ss+

My CDC recommended more water. But I'm drinking 4L a day. Don't think I can manage much more!! :(

5lb/week average is good i suppose but still disappointed! Xx
