first monthly weigh in today 5lb bit disappointed :(

thanks Sheba thats very true & how i'm looking at it now, the doc was pleased too & said same thing, i'm going to try up my exercise this month i have a rebounder & can actualy jog on it for 10mins twice a day now which is great considering ive been told i need a knee replacement. im realy pleased as it helps me exercise without all the knee/ joint pain & great to music. i use hand weights too to try tone my arms up & its gives a good alround workout. i may even try something on the the wii fit now i'm feeling more energetic. I dont look at this as a diet I see it as learning a new healthier lifestyle & way of eating. Your right Sheba whatever i've lost its off not on & a step nearer my healthier lighter new me :)

I try to do my bike 3 times aday and i recently got a cross trainer which I love and my neighbour gave me a 10ft trampoline for the garden but i havnet tried that yet..I think im abit to big for that yet lol. I go for my monthly weigh on the 12/13th june so hopefully im on the right track every loss is a bonus.. however small or large..Im hoping for 8lb this month ive done 5lb in the first week .although he advised me not to weigh until I go back i cant resist boots every monday lol....I will let you know how I go on monday ...where abouts in lincs are you...

i always get down heartened but just think about how much 5lbs weighs

thats 5lbs your body no longer has to carry about

hi your doing great, yes my kids had a large outdoor trampoline but i never dare go on it i cud see myself flying off it :) so i got the mini indoor one rebounder its great and i csan just jog along on it whilst watch tv or listening to music so easy i got it from argos. I live in small villiage near Caistor on outskirts Grimsby. WoW! you did great 5lb in first week, thats why i was bit disappointed as i felt id lost more, anyway see what this month brings, its going the right way like you say. I dont have scales in the house as i would be jumping on and off them all time but i must admit i have been tempted to hop on in boots lol

Hi Anna, thankyou, yes you're right 5lb's less to carry about :) i think i'll get some bags of sugar at the shops as actually seeing & feeling that amount makes you appreciate what you really were carrying around :)

5lbs is a fab loss, and never ever compare your losses to anyone else petal. We're all different and we all lose differently. It's not how much we lose in a week, its how much we lose on our whole weight loss journey. Some people seem to take the quicker route, some people take the scenic route ;) Its the end point that's important hun xx

:) thanks Ali & you look brill i love seeing the pics as you change i must take some myself. i did get weighed on the wii fit thismorning as the doc weighed me at teatime of which i never do always in a morning as i feel so bloated by evening and ive lost total 7lb i'm so pleased now as thats what i thought i'd prob lost. Its really cheered me up and i'm looking forward to my next month, small steps make big changes as all you brill fat fighters are prooving to me. I love this website too you are all such great inspirations far better than at any slimming clubs i've ever been to over then the many many years, thankyou all again & keep up great work yourselves your amazing! :) xxx

I love the bit that some are taking the scenic route , and some taking the quicker route that is so true, I sometimes take the quicker route and sometime take the scenic route.lol.. Can I say you look brill in your pic..im going to put some pics on here of myself soon ..
Genuinegem ..it doesnt matter how long it takes everyone gets there in the end..Just keep plodding along thats what im doing some weeks are better then others but its all a loss big or small we will all finish the race eventually....
