First Week Losses?

I'm doing my first week on WW. Have previously done SW and had success.

Previously when ever I have started a new diet, the first week I get a larger loss of around 5 - 7 lbs. Mainly because of the difference in diet from bad to good.

I'm finding it really hard to believe that Im going to lose weight on SW. Today I had fruit for breakfast, a 2pp soup for lunch, and then made some spicy chicken for tea (7 points) with half a pack of microwave rice (5 points) and a naan bread (8 points). It just seems a bit too good to be true. Do I need to be spreading my points out more throughout the day, or am I ok using more for my evening meal? What first week losses did everyone else get?

I lost 6lb, and I ate crisp and chocolate !

i like to use most of mine in the evening :) ...... it means you get a really good meal that fills you up till breakfast and stops needing snacks in the evening... or at least the naughty snacks !

i prefer fruit for breakfast with a 1pp fromage frais... then approx 10pp for lunch then i have 20pp for tea .... and still have 1pp for my hot chocolate ... i try to have a few less per meal then i get a few pp for a ww cake to go with my hot chocolate :D

Hello I came over from SW after I had my baby in June ( I followed during my pregnancy) I didn't have a big loss in my first weigh in as I had gone from one healthy plan to another.

How you spread your points is similar to how I do it and I usually get a loss every week.

My typical day is (I'm on 29 per day)

Breakfast - 3 points
Lunch - 5 points
Dinner -13 points
Snacks - 5 points
Drinks - 3points

I always have a KFC at the weekend and use my weeklies Fri, Sat and Sun

You just need to find how the plan works best to your lifestyle and then you're on the right path.

i lost half a pound my first week:( 1lb second week and 1.5 the next week,,but i got there in the end..doesnt matter how you use your points really just as long as your not using all your points and rubbish everyday you will start to see some losses,,good luck

I use all my weeklies for naughty stuff so i dont feel deprived, and i still have good losses - the first week is always a good one, then if you stick to plan eating all your points you should get regular losses, even 1lb is good. If you actually pick up 1lb you'll be suprised how much it weighs! Like the others have said, it's all about spreading them out in a way that works for you, saving them for your danger times and eating less at times when you're less hungry - for me my danger time is definitely the evening so i always try and save my weeklies for then! I agree it does sometimes seem a bit too good to be true, but then it's not supposed to be a diet, it's a lifestyle, and if you can't eat the stuff you like it's not much fun!

i lost 4lbs and used all my weeklies.

i tend to have more pp for my evening meal also.
