First weigh in monday, what to eat?

    I everyone this is my first week on sw ee, I've tried super hard, my weigh in is Monday eve at 7.30, what do people recommend to eat on a pm weigh in thanks xx

    Most people have there lunch and eat after they get home i weigh in at 9.30am. Everyone does
    What works for them but do the same every week and you will be fine

    My wi is at 5:30. I generally have fruit and yogurt for breakfast and a chicken or tuna salad for lunch, and a banana a bit later if I need it. I'll eat a hifi bar in group after being weighed to tide me over until I get home

    Just eat normally, it won't make any difference if you do the same thing every week :)

    I usually have porridge or cereal (Heb) for brekkie and a mugshot or soup for lunch and yogurt and fruit. I weigh in on Mondays at 5.30pm

    Just eat normally, you will be doing your WI each week so this will be reflected in each week's WI and roll on week by week. Starving yourself leading up to WI will achieve nothing. Trust in the plan, it works :D
     
  9. As the others here have said, it doesn't matter as long as you do the same thing each week. If you have very little to eat this week for your first weigh-in, you will be setting a very low benchmark, and are you going to be able to keep that up for ever?

    In the past I've been known to eat nothing at all during the day before weigh in - and to try on several different outfits to find the lightest one!!!! :rolleyes:

    It is not a good idea, as once you have done it once, you feel you need to do it all the time (cue going hungry every week, and going to group in inappropriate lightweight summer clothes in the snow...)

    As everyone else has said - just eat normally at lunchtime and make sure you do roughly the same thing every week.

    I'd echo what everyone else has said. When I weighed in at night I got into the habit of having a tiny lunch then nothing till after weigh in. I weigh in in the morning now and don't eat anything till afterwards.

    Thank you for your advice, it's easier for me to go to the evening weigh due to small children although the morning weigh sounds a lot more appealing! X

    I lost 3.5 pounds! Am happy with that and I literally put my all into it, 10.5lbs to go xx

    Well done!! I just eat as I normally would any other day, I don't get weighed till 7.30 so once Ive stayed to class I don't get home till gone 9? I think if your following the plan properly its not going to matter too much if you eat dinner or wear lighter clothes? I went to WW a few years back and would never eat dinner before but then would go all out after as I was sssooooo hungry? Hope this makes sense and helps!

    If you can get to a morning group there shouldn't be a problem with taking young kiddies with you. We have several young mums at my group. I've only ever done morning WI and really don't think I'd like an evening WI.
