Well, first weigh in today, 2 days early as changing my WI day . So in 5 days I have lost 7lb!!! So happy to see it coming off and has really motivated me.

Had a big test tonight when I went to the pub after work then had the girls over but I did it - 100%!!!

This feels good :)

Well done on surviving the pub! I couldn't have done that... I've had to take time off my work to hibernate just so I can get through this!

Thanks guys - I love how supportive this forum is. So as today is actually end of week 1, I thought I'd get on the scales at home and see what the whole first week would have been and I appear to have lost 11lb!! I can't believe it!!!
So week 2 at the official weigh in should be a good one :)

That's brill hun! Did you have any really bad days in week 1? I'm having one today (day 4) but if I get a big loss it'll all be worth it! How did you get through it?

Hi,
I didn't start to feel like myself until day 5 but day 6 was even better. It is tough but I keep envisaging the outcome. Your first weigh in will really spur you on and when you see the outcome you realise it has all been worth it.
I tried to avoid the temptations by staying out of the kitchen, never went to a supermarket etc... I know that the little things (odd biscuit etc) that on any other diet wouldn't be a huge problem, are on this and could set me back to the start again. I've never had this much determination before in my life, don't know what's got into me!!!

You can do it, take each day as a separate achievement because it is and you'll be there before you know it!!!
