Fish for mi Curry

can any of you help,advise please. Im doin misen a curry (homemade) with some cod and prawns to freeze for a later date.
Should i do the curry in the pan and cook the fish and prawns separate? then chuck em in the curry at the end of the cooking time?
i ask this as normally i use chicken and just chuck it in with the rest of my recipe but not sure if the fish & prawns would break up simmering so long?

Hi, had to reply cos your writing sounded just like my hubby :lol:
I would do the sauce first then add fish later just giving fish time to cook through, otherwise I think you're right, it'll all drop to bits
