Howdy everyone!

Hope you're all well, LOVING this forum so much! And I'm still going strong at the end of day 4 :D

I was just wondering if anyone can tell me about the flapjacks? ie are they nice/filling/edible?!
And do I understand it correctly that while you're on LT 100% you are allowed to have 2 shakes and a flapjack per day (instead of 3 shakes) or have I totally misunderstood?

Well done on getting to day 4:clap:

You can have two shakes and a flapjack, or 3 shakes.

Flapjacks take a bit of getting use to as the taste of vitamins, minerals and trace elements are very strong in comparison to the shakes, so they are best left for at least two weeks until your body has time to adjust to the diet.

You could ask your chemist for a one of each to try, peanut and coconut flavoured, they probably will charge you for them.

My first taste of flapjacks had me gagging :yuk:but desperate for something to chew a few weeks later I gave them another go and they were more palatable.

They are very handy for when you are out and about and they are filling...it use to take me about 20 minutes to eat one along with water.

Some have actually liked them from the start but they have been few and far between...most have the same first time reaction as myself:p

Flapjacks = minging! I'd rather eat a packet of shake powder dry than have one of those again! If I need something to chew I make a shake into a muffin - no way would I go near those flapjacks.

But if you want to taste something that resembles compacted cardboard go ahead! x

Hi hun,

I dont mind the flapjacks (peanut one). I have one everyday but mini is right about leaving it til about week 3 to try them. By that stage your palate is cleansed and you may like it.
You are right about the 2 shakes and 1 flapjack. Basically the flapjack replaces one of your meals.

Best of luck with it hun and well done on getting to day 4.

i had my first one because my shakes where delivered late.....

i had to have 2 in one day

the first made me gag it took me an hour nibbling away at it and drank loads of water to keep it down..

the next day i had one for breakfast and it went down a little easier..

i had the third one a few days latesr for breakfast.. i was surprised how filling it was.. but after 2 weeks i guess my stomachs shrank a bit

ive ordered 3 for next week (peanut ones)
i intend to have them as breakfast i think on 3 days next week..

there just good as a change i guess...

I've got my first weigh in tomorrow... :eek: and am going to try a flapjack in the chemists for my breakfast to see if I like them, if I do then I'll get some in as I like the idea of taking them for my pack lunch rather than a shake. If they're grotesque then at least I know and can avoid in the future! :D
