Flu / chest infection panic

Thurs wi showed 1.5 loss- but I felt terrible - been to docs & got nebuliser, antibiotics & steroids- but I'm confused- my scales show a further 6 loss! Don't wanna get my hopes up- has any one else experienced this? I feel bloated too!

I had flu and dropped a big chunk of weight while I was ill. Partly because I couldnt eat much and partly because you do burn more calories when you are ill due to your body constantly fighting the infection, plus water loss through temperature rise and sweating.

So, yeah, it can happen.

Thank u! I can't believe how quick it dropped & I've been eating pear and orange ice lollies & drinking lucozade each day! Trying to eat proper food other than that though! Just scared if it's fluid loss that I'll put it all back on & more! Only time will tell!
