very easy to make,i just cooked them for too long and they
dried out.
beef mince,bell peppers,garlic,egg,mixed spices.
well now i've made them i will very very careful
on cooking, and add more flavour,i didn't season enough,
although my nose is blocked so there could actually have been enough garlic to rock yer socks off,but i can't taste it.

I'm cooking for the party tomorrow.......so I've eaten leftover yolks for the reviled eggs and had 2 pepperami! So much still to do :(

Ok finally managed to take a photo of a meal before i ate it - do like my food:)

So here is:
Chicken baked with mayo and parmesan (see recipes thread) - 1 breast quarter and 1 boneless breast
Spinach
Green beans
Celeriac mash

Plus lots of wine:p

Ps these are large denby plates and i admit a good meal:). Mfp did try to tell me to reset my standard calories today - no way jose!

Hi imso, yes i did and in fact overall i was a bigger person so actually had more daily calories in induction:)

Some context:
I tend to have a good breakfast, lighter lunch as i am often dancing or running around and then a good but early dinner (6.30-7)
I keep an eye on calories as i am trying to make sure i am reading my body signals right so notice in mfp where following the rule eat when hungry leaves me
When i started, mfp had me about 2000cals before exercise, now i am set at 1630 - mfp wants me to reduce due to the last 10kg lost but i am ignoring it as like this amount :) and dont particularly want my body to think food is not available!
When i exercise i am usually hungrier so eat all the "extra" cals naturally - if i dont then i sometimes wake up in night hungry
When i dont exercise then usually end up on tgt naturally...unless i drink alcohol - both empty calories and seems to make me hungry
This was a pretty big plate i must admit - i had done 1.5 hrs dancing and gym and didnt need any dessert or extra snacks to last for the 12 hours overnight:)

As per gary taubes theory, I believe that when i eat well, my body happily wants to burn off the available energy which is why i often feel that i have to get out and dance or go to the gym!

Learning to listen to my body as long as it's not the starving carb monster talking:D

Mmm, Yummy! My Green & White Soup...
image-313908684.jpg

... So named because it contains only green and white vegetables, whichever are on hand at the time.

This one contains broccoli, savoy cabbage, spinach and celery. I often also use cauliflower, green beans, white cabbage, and I've even been known to throw lettuce or rocket in there to bulk it up too. Pre-Atkins I would use potato and parsnips sometimes as well.

I just chop the veg roughly, throw it in with enough liquid to cover (water/ stock) and boil until veg is cooked. Blend until smooth and stir in some double cream and season well. I used salt, pepper, garlic granules, fresh parsley and a glug of Maggi seasoning. I love this with some fresh basil too, but I didn't have any.

If I'm extra hungry, I'll chuck some shredded cooked chicken in the bottom of the bowl before I spoon the soup over.

This is a soup my mum used to make for me when I was a kid and I've made it so many times since, with all different vegetables, and each combination has been just as delicious.

Oh ghat soup looks gorgeous! My offering for tonight, prawns cooked in a little oil with mushroom, garlic, spring onion & little red pepper, spinach & single cream, served with savoy cabbage & baked mushrooms with Parmesan cheese. Gorgeous!

I had kedgeree made with cauliflower rice for breakfast this morning. Well, I was going to, but I ended up picking out the egg and mackerel. The cauli rice just didn't work in kedgeree. I haven't tried it with anything else, but the flavour of the cauliflower was just too strong.

Regardless, I took a picture, so I may as well post it! Hehe

Haha. Yes, it does. I just wish it tased nice!

I'm really missing rice and finding it hard to find alternatives to use in some of the dishes I made before Atkins. It's not even that I'm craving the carbs, I just want the taste and texture of rice. And cauliflower just doesn't cut it! Haha.
