Hi guys! I made the thread about Fibresure, but i really should've done a proper intro of me first
I;m Wisney (not real name obvs, but close to it!), I'm 22, I'm male, I'm 5ft 7 and I'm currently 14st
I've tried many diets over the years (as we all have), but have never succeeded. I was 12 1/2 stone when I was just 12, but after a camping trip in which I lost my appetite, I dropped a lot of weight and over the course of that year I had a full blown eating disorder and got down to just 9 st (which for a boy at my average height was underweight). After that, I gradually put the weight back on. Last year, after many years of being very depressed, I hit rock bottom and my weight went up to 14st, which was the highest it had ever been.
I feel like now is the time to really put my effort into losing weight. I want to be an actor, and I've been auditioning for drama schools with no success so far, and I know that if I want to audition in the real world, I can't be overweight. So I feel like I owe it to myself to give myself the best chance of a life and maybe a career by having a body I'm not ashamed of. I want to have a good summer for once (all of my summers are just lonely and depressing) and me and my friends are planning a weekend away in brighton at the beginning of july, and I really want to be able to take my shirt off on the beach.
I have my first month's pack of Exante shakes and I'm going to be doing total solution for 8 weeks, then working solution for 1 so that I can enjoy drinking and eating while in Brighton without shocking my body too much. I feel like I can succeed this time because it's total abstinence from food. Food is the only thing that makes me happy, so regulating it is very, very hard, so being without it completely will hopefully allow me to centre myself and my emotions.
I'm going to be doing some weight training 4 times a week as this is the only exercise I enjoy and it will also stop me from losing any muscle mass while on this type of diet. I'm hoping to lose 4 stone by my holiday, but I realise that is a bit over ambitious, so 3 stone would be great. I just want to get down to the right waist and shoulder ratio that I want. Whatever weight I achieve that at will the right weight for me.
I look forward to sharing my journey with you guys! I start the shakes on monday
