The book just gives general information an average if you like. Most food you buy these days has all the nutritional values listed on the packaging and this is what you should go by. 80g of frozen broccoli will have a different carb count to 80g of raw.
Thanks for your replies guys, i was guttered last night when i thought i had gone and ruined things as i had eaten an awful lot of broccoli, i nearly thought ' sod it, ive ruined it now, i may aswell have some chocolate ' But i didnt and boy am i glad!!!
