    Afternoon folks,

I'm really fancying trying some receipes with creamy sauces instead of tomato based sauce, but I can only ever find LF fromage Frais in huge pots so I end up throwing away more than half of it when I'm only making a meal for me (I believe I can't freeze meals made with LFFF although I could be wrong)

Has anyone found a way round this, or somewhere thats sells normal yogurt sized pots of LFFF?

I've found small pots of VFF natural yoghurt but never fromage frais. What I started doing was adding some granulated sweetener, some vanilla essence and tipping it over fruit for my breakfast. Tastes nicer than Muller light in my opinion!

I just buy 0% Greek yoghurt now instead of quark and fromage frais. I find it works well in cooking and is lovely on it's on with honey and fresh fruit. You can usually get it in smaller pots too.

I found smaller pots in Sainsburys... sort of in between a regular yogurt and a giant one! Those were pretty handy. I sometimes use laughing cow extra light triangles to make creamy sauces too, and those keep forever (almost)!

    hi there,

I have just bought some fromage frais from morrisons (eat smart 200g) and it says virtually fat free less than 1% fat - so guessing that could be classed as syn free and it was quite nice.

You could mix the leftover fromage frais with some White chocolate options (small 1 drink sized sachets) and some sweetner for a lovely creamy dessert for only 2 syns. I sometimes have this on it's own or with fruit or meringue. Yummy!
