Hi peeps,

I've heard for a while that some people like to freeze mullerlights, making them more like an ice cream desert. I fancy giving it a try but am wondering how long do u freeze them for before eating?

Thanks for any help.

me too dont like yoghurt but bought a muller light strawberry nd bet it would be way nicer as a sort of ice cream im guessin just until its solid? hope people answer quick no wot i want for desserts now lol

good point waitin for it to melt would be no laughing matter lol

As no-one has answered this yet may I be so bold as to suggest lobing it in the freezer and trial and error???? I've not done it before either - but if it was rock solid when I took it out I would simply let it defrost for a few minutesand if it was not frozen I would put it back in for longer:8855:

I think people usually freeze for about 4 hours. I dont like them so much when theyre totally rock hard and they dont really defrost very well.

I bought a slush mug which freezes them in about 10-15 mins.I prefer the activia snack pots in them but have a look on Firebox/amazon for one as they are pretty cheap and a godsend for a aquick frozen dessert.

Yeah. Never very successful with freezing them. Followed recipe from SW site last weekend which was mixing Mullerlight toffee yogs with some ff fromage frais and then adding 21.5g Maltesers (5 Syns). Did what it said and kept stirring from time to time to break down ice crystals but, because it made so much, couldn't eat it all at once and so, of course, it froze into a solid block which probably even a pick axe couldn't penetrate! Waited for it to defrost but, as ermintrude said, it didn't defrost particularly well so ended up binning it. :( Have tried these in the past and they are never successful so won't be trying again. Rather use Syns on a Mini Magnum or a Fab lolly. Someone has suggested freezing a ripe banana and, apparently, when you eat it, it tastes like banana ice cream so might give this a go next!
