fruit salad help

if i was to chop fruit up to stor ein the fridge what can i put it in other than i plastic tub. when i did this before it went mushy very quick.

Hi Samwood! I find that a squeeze of lemon juice keeps everything fresh & crisp even n a plastic lunchbox. I also keep mine in the fruit & veg drawer of the fridge where there is less moisture. I'm no banana fan but I would say its better to add bananas just before serving as they don't keep well after cutting. Looking forward to hearing other suggestions- what a great question!
