So, I notice a lot of us are here as we are losing weight in order to fit into our dresses! So thought I'd start a wedding thread!

Who out of us is getting married? And When? Any pics of your dresses?

I'll start us off. I'm getting married on 30th September. Have another stone to lose. Currently a size 12-14 but need to be a size 10-12 in order to get into this dress:

Currently 16 bought a dress in a size 14 as my boobs wont reduce that much. However if they do I can have my dress taken in!!

Im gettin married August 2011 ... and need to slim down from a 10/12 to a size 8 to maintain so my dress still fits .. My dress is nowhere to be seen on the internet as its one of a kind, i dont have photos but next year for my fittings i will .. so post it then :love047: xxxxx Good luck to everyone xxxxx

Just because he wont forget our wedding date. And also when we got engaged last year we said we'd wait for our son to be about 2 1/2 and he will be by then ;-) I love the date!!
As for my dress it is an Alfred Anglo dress originally £800 I paid £170 hence getting it so early!! I'm not wearing White it's a champagne colour

I fell in love with my dress the minute I saw it. I'd been looking around and every one I looked at didn't jump out at me like that one!! I'm still going to try lots more on thats the best bit xx

Whats your colour theme? We are having silver and orange! Groom and grooms party in dark grey suits with silver cravat and waistcoat. Bridesmaid in a silver dress. Flowers are bright orange calla lilies!

I love all the drama, my fella moans wen its on but he always gets into it HAHA .. and starts callin the venues n stuff !! That sounds AMAZINGGG, I love your colours, so pretty and summery my colour scheme is turquoise, gold and white ... my dress is unusual and is turquiose and my bridesmaid is in white and turquoise ... my fella and the grooms men are having turquiose cravats and waist coats to match my dress Eeeeee xxx

Chocolate brown and champagne. 4 bridesmaids 3 older wearing chocolate brown one 10year old wearing champagne like me. Boys wearing champagne waistcoats and brown ties. Currently making invites everything is booked. Love planning it. Really think I should be a wedding planner ;-)

Oooh, I'm excited for you all My boyfriend says we can get married but he's not proposed yet. He said it nearly 6 weeks ago, I'm getting impatient XD

This is the dress I'd want in an ideal world. I'm a foot shorter than Taylor Swift though, so I'd don't think I'd look quite so elegant! Somehow I don't think we'd be able to afford it either

september 17th here, the stag and doe is only in 2 weeks!!!!!! I bought my dress off ebay but honestly, its bealutiful! ( ill take pics later) and it was soo cheap! the dress is roughly a 14 but ha sa corset back so if i shrink ( fingers crossed) it can shrink with me no problems! lol ive bought every sucker inner, undergament on the market .... but i dont think ill be able to fake it hence what leads me here

I'm getting married on 8th May! 2 Weeks on Sunday!!! OMG!!! lol...My target was to loose 5st for the wedding, i've lose 4st 11.5lbs, 2 and a half weeks to loose 2.5lbs!

Here's my dress...

I'm getting it in white tho - this is it in Champagne! It looks better on me than the model tho I have curves!!

My colours are white, green and black...I'm in white, bridesmaids are in apple green dressed with ruffled white band around the middle all the way to the floor. The men are in traditional black kilts with scottish ghillie shirts...

Ooft my heart done a wee jump out my chest just talking about how soon it is!!! :O xx
