Getting recognition

My kids started back at school this week (well one started primary school and the others went back to nursery) and I obviously have changed shape because I had parents and teachers (at nursery) commenting about how I looked!! It was so nice to hear... Even the cleaner who I don't really know (my son has a bit of a thing for her..lol) said "My god, LOOK at you!"

Even my husbands stroke nurse, who we see once a month asked me if I'd lost weight... What a confidence booster!! I'm even more determined to continue now.

Oh and I also got into (comfortably) a pair of 14 jeans!!!

Its great to get confidence boosters.

I saw someone at work yesterday who I hadn't seen for months and she didn't notice a thing despite my loss of over 3 stone and 2/3 dress sizes. Most people I see each week through work have not said anything either but then I have not once mentioned being on a diet.

On the other side of the coin, random people like the lady in my newsagents mentioned it and obviously my friends and family can see a big difference too.

sometimes people can be embrassed to say anything, cause a lady in my work took my into an office to ask me lol I thought I was getting the sack the way she done it

Dont worry as long as u feel great and you have the support of ur friends and family thats all that matters

although it is always great for someone to go wow look at you lol

Yes I think some people are worried about insulting you by saying you've lost weight. Its as if it will come across as 'blimey you were/are a bit of heffer who needs to lose some pounds'. LOL

I guess those who know you are on a diet are on safer ground.
